That dream finally came true, and after renovating a traditional Japanese-style house, I opened Ocean Stay Miura in June 2026. I have worked in the travel industry for many years and have also served as a tour guide. I am very familiar with sightseeing in the Miura area, as well as Kamakura and the Shonan region. Getting Here It takes approximately 23 minutes to travel from Haneda Airport to Shinagawa Station on the Keikyu Line. From Shinagawa Station, take the Keikyu Line to Misakiguchi Station, the nearest station to Ocean Stay Miura. The journey takes about 70 minutes by limited express train. If you have luggage such as suitcases, taking a taxi from Misakiguchi Station is the most convenient option. The taxi fare is reasonable. If you prefer to travel by bus, take a bus from Bus Stop No. 2 at Misakiguchi Station. Buses bound for Misaki Higashioka (No. 5), Jogashima (No. 9), or Misaki Port (No. 26) all stop at TENJIN CHO. Please get off there and walk approximately 10 minutes to the property. For guests arriving by car, we provide one complimentary parking space near the property. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you detailed directions and check-in information. Nearby Attractions From the property, it is about a 20-minute walk to Urari Marche, a popular local market where you can purchase fresh seafood and local specialties. The area around Urari Marche is home to many restaurants and cafés, where you can enjoy Misaki's famous fresh tuna and other local delicacies. Aburatsubo Beach, a popular swimming spot, is only a 5-minute drive away. The property is also conveniently located near Jogashima Island, a well-known destination for fishing and diving. It is easily accessible by both local bus and car.
