Thank you for reading! Log Cottage-be with nature is a log house in a field on the outskirts of Furano, which built in 2020. We offer private time, limited to one couple per day. The facility is an eco-friendly accommodation that reduces the burden on the environment by using 100% natural energy, a solar water heater that produces hot water from the sun's heat, a wastewater purification system that uses soil microbiological decomposition, and pellet stoves with low carbon footprints. The windows offer magnificent views of Mount Ashibetsu, and at night you can admire the beautiful starry sky. Two bedrooms are available, one with two single beds and one with a bunk bed and a single bed. (All bed size 197×97) There is a separate bathroom and toilet (with bidet function), and the washroom area is equipped with a hairdryer. The kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering, with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Seasoning oil, salt and sugar are provided. Guests are welcome to bring any other condiments they may need. We provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap in bottles, as we try to avoid the use of disposable containers as much as possible to protect the environment. For the same reason, disposable toothbrushes and lotion in small packets are not provided. Please bring your own. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. A small TV with limited internet channels has been installed since 2025. Furano City is committed to the recycling of waste and has a detailed sorting system. We ask for your cooperation in separating rubbish. Towels, bath towels and body wash towels are provided in wash room. Fibre-optic internet and Wi-Fi are available free of charge. The connection is sometimes unstable due to bad weather, but this has never interfered with our guests' lives. Please enjoy your stay in Furano, a short distance from the city centre. I first came to Furano in the winter of 2002 to enjoy snowboarding, and in 2010, I moved here from Mie Prefecture after frequently traveling between Honshu and Hokkaido. For nearly 20 years, I have worked with snow and have become increasingly aware of global warming as the snowfall gradually decreased. This led me to think about what I could do, so I started an eco-friendly lodge to ensure that skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed for many years to come. Our lodge uses sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems to minimize our impact on the environment. Of course, summer in Furano is also very pleasant, with delicious food and beautiful flower fields to enjoy! The natural beauty and tranquility here are perfect for relaxation and adventure alike.
