サムライの宿ならい荘は美しい木曽の山あいにひっそりとたたずむ**奈良井宿（ならいじゅく）**にあり、ここはまるで時間が止まったかのような場所。江戸の風情が今も色濃く残る歴史ある宿場町です。今でも、当時の面影をそのまま残した町並みが約1kmにわたって続き、重厚な木造の家屋がずらりと並ぶ景色はまさに圧巻。まるで江戸時代にタイムスリップしたような感覚を味わうことができます。当旅館は奈良井宿から鳥居峠への木曽路の入り口の側にあり、奈良井宿から徒歩5分の山麓の森の中にあります。当旅館では居合体験、映画風の殺陣撮影体験。サムライ衣装や着物の着付け体験、茶道体験など、サムライにちなんだ体験を用意しています。その他にも近隣エリアの産業である漆製品の製作体験や、江戸時代から続く櫛（お六櫛）の製作体験など江戸文化を満喫できるな様々な体験を用意しています。
