Season one, the lodge and UOGASHI 7070, fisherman's restaurant are working together. You will check in at UOGASHI 7070 check-in center and when you arrive at Naoshima earlier than check-in time, you can leave your luggage there, only 3 minutes from the Miyanoura port and rent a bike near the restaurant as well and go sight seeing right after you arrived at Naoshima. After art watching, come back to the restaurant and eat dinner. We will shuttle you to the lodge near the museum area by car. The restaurant, UOGASHI 7070 prepares dinner and breakfast, using the variety of fresh fish and different ingredients we have each day. The price includes dinner and breakfast of course. Please enjoy our fish main full course dinner including even Japan's most delicious wagyu beef, the "Nozaki brand red meet beef" which awarded grandprix continuously for 2 years. After breakfast next mornig, you can go sight seeing or leave Naoshima right away. Please refer to Trip Adviser and Airbnb as well.
My name is Yoshinao Fukumoto, owner of the restaurant. I was running a graphic design office and Japanese restaurants in Tokyo. I returned to this magical island to offer good Japanese food for the tourists from the whole world as there are not many choices to eat fresh fish in Naoshima although it is surrounded by the ocean. Our concept is to offer the foreign people to experience the Japan's good food not only the fresh sashimi, griilled, boiled, fried fish but the great wagyu. My assistant, Taka speaks good Aussie English and guide you what to enjoy in Naoshima. Yoshio is a man of the lodge will prepare your comfortable room and shuttle you back and forth.
There are red pumpkin and white ｍonument of a polygon which is lighted up at night at Miyanoura area. Even you can enjoy Naoshima sento " I love yu", a famous public artistic bath before or after the dinner near the restaurant. There is a super good udon noodle shop "Yamamoto udon" in Miyanoura as well. When you go there, try udon with beef on top.
