This standalone house is located at the furthest end of the Bessho Onsen hot spring town. On the premises, you can visit a silk-reeling facility from 1916, which is preserved as a cultural asset. As a general rule, we host only one group at a time. Please note that the first-floor kitchen is exclusively for cafe use and is unavailable to guests; however, you may use simple cooking appliances on the second floor. There are toilets and sinks on both the first and second floors. The facility is popular for student group trips and various organizational retreats. Additionally, we offer optional activities based in the local hills. While open flames are strictly prohibited on the guesthouse premises (except for the designated outdoor smoking area), paid outdoor activities—including bonfires, barbecues, and tent saunas—are available at the Bessho Onsen Satoyama Agroforestry Field, managed by our partner organization. Wood Chopping & Bonfire Experience: 2,000 JPY per adult (children are free). BBQ & Charcoal Grilling Experience: 2,000 JPY per adult (children are free). Please bring your own ingredients. Tent Sauna Experience: 2,000 JPY per adult for 2 hours (capacity: 4 people). Choose between our MOKI stove (Löyly style) or a Russian Mobiba steam sauna.

The facility is managed by a workers' collective established in 2024, composed of farmers, former university professors, homemakers, and other multi-workers. In addition to running the guesthouse, we operate a cafe, a food truck, a processing facility, and an agroforestry project (natural cycle-based agriculture and forestry). We can provide breakfast and dinner at the guesthouse using miso and soy sauce handcrafted by our group.
