Ubaku Villa is a private, entire-villa retreat limited to one group per day, nestled in the natural landscape of Biei, Hokkaido. Set on a spacious 1,800㎡ property, this standalone house offers complete privacy in a quiet, nature-filled environment where time flows gently. The historic building has been carefully renovated to preserve the warmth of natural wood and the beauty of light. Mornings begin with soft sunlight and birdsong, while nights offer deep tranquility beneath star-filled skies, made possible by the area’s minimal artificial lighting. The two-story villa has a total floor area of approximately 117㎡ and features four bedrooms, a living-dining-kitchen area, two toilets, and one bathroom. A 100-inch projector in the living room creates a relaxed atmosphere for quiet evenings, even for larger groups. With a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living area, and large windows that connect you to nature, the villa is well suited for both short stays and longer visits, including workations. Rather than focusing on sightseeing, this is a place to slow down and simply enjoy being in nature. The villa is located about 18 minutes by car from Asahikawa Airport and 10 minutes from central Biei, with major attractions such as the Blue Pond and Shirogane Onsen within easy driving distance. Please note: Ubaku Villa is located in a natural area without public transportation. A rental car is essential for daily travel, shopping, and sightseeing. Please keep noise to a minimum, especially at night. ② No Smoking Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere on the property, both indoors and outdoors. If smoking is detected, cleaning and repair fees may be charged. ③ Fire & Safety Do not place any objects on or around the heater. Forgetting to turn off fire or any dangerous behavior is prohibited. For safety reasons, guests who do not follow instructions may be asked to leave the property. ④ Natural Environment & Wildlife Do not leave food or garbage outside. Please be cautious of wildlife such as foxes, raccoon dogs, and bears. ⑤ Insects (Important Notice) Due to the natural environment, insects may enter the house depending on the season or weather. Refunds or cancellations will not be accepted for this reason. ⑥ Appliances & Electricity Use Please avoid using high-power appliances (e.g. microwave, hair dryer) at the same time. If a power outage occurs due to improper use, it will not be eligible for compensation.
