I fell in love with this country of Kenya more than 20 years ago, when I joined the photographic safari industry. I still remember on the early nineties when I saw Diani/Galu Beach for the 1st time! I knew I was going to live and raise my family here at the South Coast of Mombasa and here I am! Married with beautiful Kenyan and we now have a 3 yr old child. I like long walks along Galu beach -especially towards the south of Galu where you can still find an underdeveloped beach with no beach boys. I like sports in general and to play ten-foot (kind of foot ball played on a tennis court). I like to travel around Kenya -specially doing self drive safaris in remote areas and the most I like is spending time with my wife and son. Reading and politics is also on my list of favorites.

Kusini beach cottages is a place built around a concept. We have achieved our goal to make our guest feel "home away from home". Kusini is built using local and eco friendly materials and we created an environment with lots of endemic trees that are home to plenty of wildlife. Our personnel are very qualified and they make sure our guest is leaves Kusini with a sweet and wonderful memory. They will take care of you and look after your comfort making sure you put your mind at rest during your stay. We provide per cottage/villa 1 Personal chef and 1 room steward that will look after you during stay and are inclusive on the price. Our child friendly environment allows families to relax and enjoy the beach front and unique swimming pool. I invite you to feel the atmosphere of a “built on the beach” spot that will not leave you refreshed and relaxed. We have recreated a small village with 2 separate villas and 1 main building with 3 cottages. Our concern has always been to offer the maximum privacy, rising private terraces and dependencies that will give you the precious privacy you deserve.Our paths are made with beach sand so you can walk barefoot form the moment you check in. Neighborhood info

Our neighborhood is residential and quite but for our clients who want to do activities we have plenty of things to do in Diani/Galu beach. From visiting Shimba Hills National Park (40min. drive to the gate), to sail with an Arabian Style dhow boat to Kisite Marine National Park for snorkeling or diving, Horse riding along the beach, Deep sea fishing, sailing/fishing with local boats, Day trip to Mombasa (visiting the Fort Jesus and the old town of Mombasa), Diani/Galu beach is known for its unique conditions for Kite surfing, Sky diving has become the last trend in Diani/Galu Beach with the settlement of state of art sky dive center. And for the ones who want to party, we got a variety of restaurants (local, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, …), Beach bars and night-clubs along Diani/Galu Beach.
