The name Musituni is the swahili name for forest. The property is named as a reflection of this connection to nature and abundant indigenous trees. The land was once covered in dense indigenous coastal forest and seashells discovered around the property indicate the sea once reached here many moons ago. That natural character became the identity of the property. Musituni was chosen to honor the landscape: a place where trees and nature are abundant, and where the spirit of the coast lives on through the gardens and greenery that guests still experience every day. The property consists of a series of 6 boutique coastal villas a short walk from Diani's white sand shoreline. Tropical comfort, modern interiors, and warm Swahili hospitality. All villas are fully furnished with ensuite bedrooms, kitchens and a shared lounge area for self catering. A chef can be arranged with prior booking at an additional cost. All guests have unlimited access to the onsite pool, bar and restaurant. Laundry and transport services are available on request with prior arrangements.
