Wat Bo House is a tropical oasis at a walking distance from Old market and the nightlife hubs, Pub Street and Night Market. This traditional Khmer villa features modern amenities and private spa service, all nestled in a tropical garden with natural pool. The house is in a quite and safe position behind Wat Bo pagoda, in a lively neighbourhood that blends local life with tourist facilities. A charming retreat a few steps away from the finest restaurants and most popular spots in town.

My name is Neang that in Khmer means ‘woman’. I was born in 1990 in Siem Reap, near Angkor Wat. I manage a traditional Khmer villa that belonged to my grandmother, and other traditional wooden houses that I found and restored with my brother, who is an architect. The first house that we renovated was built in 1979, right after the fall of the Khmer Rouge regime. It was the house where I spent my childhood playing in and around, but it was later abandoned and so it remained for many years. With the same spirit we gave other traditional wooden houses a new life. We renovated them to provide a high standard of comfort, but we also wanted to preserve their original features, so that everyone can experience Cambodian hospitality in a traditional home.

Somneang’s place is located in Krong Siem Reap, Siem Reap, Cambodia. Located behind the biggest pagoda in town, the house is easy to reach, and stands in a quiet and safe position in Wat Bo, one of the most popular and well-serviced districts of Siem Reap. The neighbourhood features some of the best restaurants and shows in town. 600m away from the riverside and the Night Market, less than a five-minute walk to the Old Market and Pub Street, the house is always served by local tuk-tuk to quickly reach any place in town. Bicycles are also available for rent. We also have historical Jeeps M151 to explore Cambodia and its treasures. You can rent our cars, with drivers, to visit the temples or to simply travel around.
