Company info

My Stone Cellar is a family-run heritage guesthouse accredited by the Ministry of Tourism, open year-round. Housed within the Ishac Estate, completed in 1903, it has been preserved by the same family for over five generations, it remains one of the rare heritage homes in North Lebanon still welcoming travelers today. As natives of Douma, we are proud to share not only our home but also our village, proudly named one of the Best Tourism Villages by the UNWTO. We enjoy welcoming guests from around the world and helping them discover the history, architecture, nature trails, cultural landmarks, and hidden corners that make Douma unique. Our goal is to offer a stay that is both comfortable and meaningful, combining genuine Lebanese hospitality with the heritage and traditions of our house and village.

Property info

My Stone Cellar Douma is a heritage guesthouse set within the restored vaulted cellars of the historic Ishac Estate (1903). The estate was completed by Ibrahim Beik Ishac, a prominent figure in the public life of Douma during the late Ottoman period, who was awarded the Order of the Medjidie by Sultan Abdülhamid II. Preserved by the Ishac family for over five generations, this landmark house with its traditional Lebanese mountain architecture continues to reflect the character and history of the region. Steeped in heritage, the vaulted cellars have been transformed into four elegant guest rooms, each self-contained with a private entrance, en suite bathroom, and sitting area. The Studio King includes a sofa bed and kitchenette, while all rooms feature handcrafted wooden furniture, wrought-iron details, and a refined balance of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary comfort. The property’s layout and traditional thick stone walls help maintain a quiet atmosphere and natural coolness throughout the year, offering guests comfort alongside character. Situated in the heart of Douma, proudly named one of the Best Tourism Villages by the UNWTO, My Stone Cellar combines the intimacy of a family home with the character of a heritage landmark. Guests are invited to sleep beneath the arches of a house once honored by the Sultan and experience the unique atmosphere where history and hospitality meet.

Neighborhood info

Throughout the year, visitors can enjoy village tours, hiking, cycling, rock climbing, wine tasting, skiing, and snowshoeing.
