AJ Villa opened in 2022 is located in an extremely beautiful and attractive location on the border of river Maha Oya, with the estuary of the river and the sea sight. It is approximately 20 minutes drive from Bandaranaike Airport Colombo to Kochchikade near Negombo. On request we can organize the airport transfer for you. Three double rooms with their own balcony and river view as well as two family rooms are modern and tastefully furnished. All rooms have private bathrooms, air conditioning, fans, televisions, safes and small fridges. Free and fast WiFi is available throughout the hotel. The well-kept pool (14 x 4 m) and the cozy seating areas on different levels invite you to relax. From the river bank you have a fantastic view of the sea, especially at dawn. The price includes a rich American or Sri Lankan breakfast. We also serve seasonal fresh fruit. In addition to local tea, we also offer coffee specialties such as cappuccino or espresso. Non-alcoholic drinks can be purchased at reception. If ordered in advance and charged separately, we will be happy to prepare snacks or complete meals for you. Cleanliness and environmental protection are very important to the owner, who has lived in Germany for a long time.

The sandy "Moya Beach" at the mouth of the Maha Oya river is only 1 km away and can be easily reached on foot. It takes about 20 minutes by car or tuktuk to get to the center of Negombo. We are happy to put you in touch with reliable drivers who will pick you up at AJ Villa and bring you back there. From Negombo you can take the air-conditioned bus to reach Colombo in about 90 minutes. We are also happy to help you with the organization of excursions and multi-day tours through beautiful Sri Lanka and can provide you with proven and reliable drivers and tour guides.
