Annavilla was built in 2017 as a holiday house ideally suited to host a family of 4 searching for a private luxurious accommodation not far the famous Tangalle beach. But our guests include also small group of travelers and even couples who appreciate privacy of fully fenced Annavilla garden with pool available just for them. The twin villa was built as a replica of a Dutch colonial villa with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, two bathrooms on each floor, private pool, garden, terrace and a bedroom balcony offering sea view. The twin villa can potentially accommodate two families sharing the pool and garden. Although Annavilla is located about 200 m from the swimming beach within the local neighborhood with plenty of local restaurants, it is sheltered from the beachside tourism. nearest shop is on the beach read about 500 m and Tangalle city center is about 1km away.
We came to Tangalle from Czechia for a holiday, fell in love with Sri Lankan nature, lifestyle and people and decided to live here for parts of the year.
Tangalle is a place to go for those who want to enjoy a combination of unspoiled Srilankan villages and beautiful beaches. There is not much time left to enjoy this, since full scale evr growing tourism is pushing hard and one day conventional holiday resorts will prevail also in Tangalle. But so far, it did not happen yet and the local life is mixed with tourists and local restaurants on Tangalle beachside road and around. On top of the beautiful Tangalle beach, there are enough attractions around Tangalle to explore for a week or two including famous Yala and Udawalawe safari, Rock temple in the countryside, surfing beaches, turtles, whale watching, Galle city with its colonial architecture and many more.
