Villa Aroshina offers comfortable, modern, elegant, homestay accommodation in Galle. It is our wish that from the moment you enter our home you feel like a cherished member of our small family. Our aim is to provide a warm, comfortable, and relaxing environment whilst providing an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience. All guest rooms have air conditioning, a ceiling fan and en-suite bathrooms with a shower and hot water. The guest rooms have shared access to their own comfortable first floor seating area with sofas and soft furnishings leading to a balcony overlooking the front garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. We offer optional cooking classes for lunch or dinner. 1. 16 types of Chicken Curry We are 1.6 km from Galle Railway Station and Galle Bus Station. We will happily pick-up and drop guests off at these locations free of charge on arrival and departure. We will have an elegant, covered outdoor dining area and off-street (car port) parking available for the 2024/25 season and onwards.
Aroshina is an experienced host with the traditional Sri Lankan welcoming smile and a warm heart. Villa Aroshina is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Local shops and a grocers are a short walk away. The UNESCO World Heritage site of Galle Dutch Fort is only 1.8 km away. Built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. It is an historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 432 years is still well maintained with beautiful examples of colonial architecture housing residents, boutique hotels & high quality restaurants. The nearest supermarket and ATM is a short 15 min walk or 5 minute tuk tuk ride away. We are a 5 minute tuk tuk ride from Galle Fort, Galle Railway Station and Galle Bus Station. We will happily pick-up and drop guests off at these locations free of charge on arrival and departure.
