We are a small Home Stay guest house quite near to the Weligama beach managed by our own family. We welcome warmly travelers from all corners of the world and try our best to make them feel at home. We offer genuine Sri Lankan hospitality with a local touch to all our guests. Hope you enjoy your stay at our humble abode. We are currently accepting foreign guests only.
We are a couple with two small cute kids who are our whole world to us. We really enjoy company of genuine travelers from varied cultures and backgrounds to share and learn about each other. Many of our guests have become close friends and still stay in touch long after departure. Our whole aim is for our guests to have a safe and memorable stay in DiDi Eco Home. Hope to see you soon!
Weligama is a town in southern Sri Lanka which is famous for it's golden sandy beaches. In fact Weligama literally means "Sandy Village". Even though its a cozy little town, it has a rich history and culture attached many significant people and times of Sri Lanka. The rock carving of the ancient statue of Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva at the Rock of the Leper King is a famous land mark in Weligama. Handwoven lace making introduced by Portuguese in the 16th century is still alive here and you may be able to witness them in action if you are lucky. When you travel there, stilt fishermen are a notable scene along the shallow waters beyond the shore.
