The Guesthouse is in a garden/jungle setting offering air-con rooms. The garden is visited by many birds including peacocks. Monkeys come through the trees and sometimes mongoose will appear as they hunt in the undergrowth. Goyambokka Beach is only a 5 minute walk along a village road and there you can swim and sunbake surrounded by coconut palm trees. There are also huts on the beach offering sunbeds with umbrellas and a good food and drink selection, including fresh seafood from our own local fishing market. They even catch fresh fish right in front of the huts. I can arrange day trips or longer for you as well as local tuk-tuks to go into town and elsewhere. VIEW bistro is in the garden, offering wood-fired pizzas (we make our own mozarella from fresh buffalo milk), tapas and seafood barbeques using fresh produce and seafood from the local markets. I can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner - all traditional and western home cooked meals. There’s a good fibre internet and wifi connection. I look forward to meeting you. Goyambokka is a village area near Tangalle. I've lived here all my life and know everyone - that's how it is in Sri Lanka. There are a lot of things to do here and I can arrange everything for you. Or, if you just want to chill out in the garden, at the bistro or at the beach, that's fine too. There are many small restaurants around, including on the beach, or I can cook for you using fresh produce from the local vegetable and seafood markets. Come and enjoy local Sri Lankan life. Let me show you how we live!
