The intimate cottage comprises three individual rooms and en suite bathrooms with an outdoor charm. Each Bedroom furnished with queen-size bed with quality linen guaranteeing a peaceful and comfortable sleep. A connecting veranda is shared by all three rooms, offering a view of a private garden. The Garden is often visited by Squirrels, garden lizard and humming birds. On occasion can witness mischievous monkeys, joyfully feasting on mangoes from the neighboring trees and rooftops.
Nongu is my brainchild, and Trincomalee, my cherished hometown, holds a special place in my heart. Recognizing its value and immense potential for creating spaces of warm hospitality. I am thrilled to share my expertise and passion for design, ensuring that your stay in Trincomalee is nothing short of exceptional. Welcome to Nongu, where Culture, artistry, and heartfelt hospitality come together seamlessly.
Nongu is ideally located near renowned Uppuveli Beach just a 6-minute walk away. This vibrant neighborhood is a harmonious blend of hotel properties, home stays, restaurants, and cafes, seamlessly integrated with the local Sri Lankan community. While our property offers complete privacy, once you step outside, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant local community. You'll have the chance to witness charming moments such as a cheerful man selling bread from his Tuk Tuk accompanied by lively music (Choon Paan). You'll also encounter women elegantly dressed in traditional attire as they make their way to the nearby temple. On occasion, you may even be visited by mischievous monkeys, joyfully feasting on mangoes from the neighboring trees atop the rooftops.
