About Me My name is Francis, and I was born in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. My childhood was shaped by the civil war, and I also survived the tsunami. After these challenging years, a German family gave me the opportunity to come to Germany and continue my education. I studied psychology and have since dedicated my life to working with children and young people, both in Germany and in Sri Lanka. During my studies, I began creating a support project for young people who needed guidance and hope. Since 2010, this initiative has reached thousands of children. The Shalom Beach Villa is my latest project, built with friends and family to support families in need and inspire hope in children. Half of the villa’s income goes directly into educational and aid programs, helping to create lasting opportunities in the local community. When you stay with us, you become part of this journey.
