In search of new challenges and the goal of combining our sustainable ideologies and hobbies with a profession, we fulfilled a dream by emigrating in 2008 and created a small paradise together with our partner Kamani Lasanthi Jayasinghe. Many years before, we founded a NGO in Germany with friends, in order to meet the poverty in Sri Lanka with care. During our project work in the region "Singharaja Garden", we got to know Kamani and her 3 charming children. What started as a long lasting friendship, we have developed into our common life project with the Singharaja Garden AGRO ECO-Lodge. With the feeling of a new quality of life, we are looking forward to giving you, as our guests, an authentic Sri Lanka, just as we were able to get to know it.

Ayubovan in the tropical paradise of Sri Lanka Right next to the Singharaja rainforest and with great attention to detail, we have created a magical AGRO ECO-Lodge for explorers, adventurers, vegetarians and yogis. A stay with us at Singharaja Garden offers you plenty of space for impressive experiences and encounters. We run our lodge according to the guidelines of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and are certified for our sustainable concepts. Our approximately three-hectare property is located at the foothills of the unique Singharaja rainforest, which is known around the world for its enormous biodiversity and high number of ethnic species and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1998. The ‘Singharaja Garden’ region is not developed for tourism and so you will spend your holiday in a tropical paradise together with friendly and simple people. From our luxury chalet ‘Paddy Field’ you have access to your own garden with a spacious private freshwater pool. Our luxury charlets ‘Tea Garden’ and ‘Cinnamon Garden’ also offer their own garden/level and share a huge freshwater pool. You can reach our main chalet with restaurant, outdoor lounge, yoga and wellness areas via a stepped path. Our two single rooms are located in the main chalet. There is a large communal terrace with two sofas and a semi-shaded area in the garden for your hammocks. In the stream, hidden under a canopy of leaves, there is also a small and natural bathing area, which you can reach via a stepped path.

With our program "Adventure and Appreciation", we offer you different jungle hikes, nature observation, kayak and mountain bike tours around our lodge and the nearby rainforest. "Body and Soul", stands for different Yoga and wellness treatments. These include yoga classes in classical Hatha, Ashtanga and Aerial Yoga, therapeutic individual lessons and a small selection of Ayurvedic wellness massages. We would like to take this opportunity to inform you that our "Body & Soul" program will not be offered during our "low season" in the months of April to June and September to November. Colombo International Airport is the gateway to Sri Lanka. From Colombo you can also reach us by bus. Direct buses run three times a day from the bus stop at Fort station to the Yattapatha bus stop 800 metres away. For those who find the journey by bus too difficult, we offer an airport transfer from and to Colombo. We kindly ask you to inform us in advance in writing of any transfer request, the costs for the transfer amount to 100 euros. It is also possible to continue your journey from our lodge using public transport. We are happy to inform you about the different possibilities and according to your destinations.
