Myself and my partner Layla, discovered our city escape away from Dubai in Sri Lanka 8+ years ago. Our special love for all aspects of the country, from its people and nature to its food, culture, surfing, and landscapes, led us to create Terrene Villas - our homes away from home.
Weligama holds a special place with its long stretch of beaches and consistent surfing conditions throughout the year. While not every day is an epic surf day, it offers ideal conditions for surfers of all levels. When you're not riding the waves or basking in the sun, this town boasts a delightful array of restaurants, cafes, and vibrant events. For a taste of local daily life, take a leisurely stroll through charming shops and markets brimming with fresh catches, locally sourced goodies, and artisanal products. We are pleased to arrange the following services for your convenience: - Airport transfers - A reliable tuk-tuk driver - Rental options for scooters, tuk-tuks, cars, or bicycles - Personal car with a dedicated driver Alternatively, local tuk-tuk drivers are readily available on the streets, and you can also explore the unique experience of using local public buses and trains.
