We are a family run business and the name of the villa is the name of the owner who was the first person to own a TukTuk in Unawatuna. The family has three lovely sons who will be around to help with any concerns guests may have with the property.

Property info

Villa Sunimal is named after the owner who was the first Tuk-Tuk driver in Unawatuna. This family run property recently opened in March 2017. All the facilities are newly built and is a 10minute walk from the beach and other restaurants, shops and cafes. To get the city of Galle it takes 15 min with the local bus on the main road which is a 2 minute walk from the property. Sunimal also offers day trip tours with his TukTukk which is available if requested upon arrival. Breakfast is provided by the family and there are BBQ facilities where you can buy your own food to BBQ and enjoy on the private terrace in the evening. The property offers a beautifully furnished one bedroom ensuite. Extra beds for children can be provided on request. The location is quiet so you will not be disturbed by traffic on the road. The cleanliness of the place is kept to a high standard. The family live next door to the property, so any concerns you may have you can discuss it with them. This location is perfect for travellers who wish to enjoy a unique Sri Lankan experience and be close to the beautiful white sand beaches and Galle.

The surrounding area of this neighbourhood offers plenty of activities. As a traveller you can chose to see the tranquil views from the Japanese Peace Pagoda, or enjoy the white sand beaches, scuba and snorkeling, yoga and pilates and Dolphin and Whale watching.
