The visitors often characterize the place as A HARBOUR OF PEACE AND SILENCE. There once can hear the nature - birds' songs, frogs and wind, dog barks in the distance as well as some road sounds in the distance. Healthy herb teas and syrups are available for tasting and not only.
The day can be spent traveling in the area by car or bicycle - there is an Ostrich farm 1 km from the guest house , the museum of Latvia president Ulmanis and a fantastic lilac botanical garden and a Medieval castle ruins some 10 km away. The two big cities - Jel;gava and Dobele- provide plenty of attractions and activities. There are mansions, windmills, walking paths, woodlands and beach areas nearby. It takes only some minutes to visit the National park in Tervete or take a rout of historical manors. The host will help you to decide about the best choice for spending the day.
