After careers in communications and real estate for one of them, and in industry for the other, and a lifetime of travelling the world, Laurence and Alain have just set down their bags at the gateway to Essaouira.
to Essaouira to carry out a new project that has been close to their hearts for years: living in Morocco and opening a guest house.
We wanted a house that opened onto the garden, combining modernity and tradition, where calm and privacy for everyone is a priority. Each suite is independent and has its own private terrace.

Dar Almajula is located in the countryside, 15 minutes from the centre of Essaouira and its beaches.
After several months of renovation, the villa has been redesigned to welcome visitors in the utmost comfort.
This unique villa, reserved exclusively for adults, has 4 large elegant suites (50m2), all air-conditioned and each with its own private terrace opening onto a generously planted garden.
The entire renovation was carried out by local craftsmen and artisans. Every detail has been imagined, hunted down or created so that each room has its own identity and allows each guest to find an atmosphere that suits them. The combination of elegance and the creativity of local craftsmanship invites you to dream and travel.
You can enjoy a swimming pool (heated in cooler periods), and in winter a cosy fire in the communal lounge.
Breakfast is served either in the pool-house or around the pool, as you wish in the pool-house or around the pool.
On request, our chef will prepare a tasty diner using only fresh products.
