My name is Abdellatif Ait Benabdallah, I am the owner of Dar Baraka Karam and I am a Marrakech Medina lover. I’ve always had a real admiration for the traditional Moroccan architecture, and I decided to turn this passion into a job. I felt that I had the fine mission to save the Moroccan heritage and I succeeded in restoring more than 200 riads all around the Medina. I kept some of them for myself and I turned them into guesthouses, restaurants and literary cafés. I love the fact of walking around the streets of the Medina and the interaction with the different kinds of people has always been my strength.

The Dar Baraka Karam has the particularity of being an18th century riad, it has been restored in the pure Moroccan tradition. It is located at a 10 minutes walk from the famous Jamaa El Fna Square. The Dar Baraka is authentic, confortable and elegant.

Neighborhood info

Dar Baraka Karam is located in the old Medina of Marrakech. The neighborhood, where we can find several little interesting craft, decoration and clothing shops, has an easy access. It is also a neighborhood where we can find different little restaurants for quick lunches, and even some fancy other ones for nice evening dinners. It is the perfect neighborhood to discover and interact with the real life of the people of Marrakech
