I love travelling and whilst I love different cultures and climates etc. I tend to prefer meeting the locals. Morocco is very accesible to foreigners and if you take some time you will discover that people here are very friendly and 'serviable'. As in all places I've travelled to or lived in (over 20 countries) I find that my best friend is often very simple and costs nothing... a polite and genuine smile.

Neighborhood info

The Kasbah (as made famous by 'The Clash'!) is one of the oldest parts of Marrakesh. As well as being a mini souk it is also a family residential area which is catered to by numerous shops and markets. Despite it's appearance to certain newcomers to the area it is in fact a very safe and respected part of the medina. Residents of the area include none other than King Mohammed the sixth.
