The property is National Heritage Protected building of historical and cultural significance as a first building of the cubist style architecture on the Balkans. Situated in the very center of Cetinje, with short walking distance to most relevant places, Villa Royal offers air-conditioned studio apartments with free Wifi. The house offers a spacious roof terrace with stunning views which makes it unique and only one with this feature for the whole city. In the winter months the Villa Royal offers space for artists as an artist residency with an accent to environmental art disciplines. The property is non-smoking and is conveniently located to many sightseeing destinations, such as 20 km to the Skadar Lake, 30km to the coastal city of Budva and further down, UNESCO protected city of Kotor and 20 km from Lovcen National Park where the Mausoleum of the most prominent figure of the Montenegrin past, Prince-Bishop Petar Petrović Njegoš is situated.
