Meet Your Host, Nasto Kutmichevica is a small family-run property and ethno restaurant in Vevchani, created around a restored family house more than 200 years old. The property has been welcoming guests since 2006, and today offers two traditional apartments above the restaurant. Your host, Nasto, grew up in this very house - a home passed down through generations and inherited from his great-grandparents. For him, Kutmichevica is more than a place to stay or dine; it is a way to preserve the spirit of the family home, the village, and the traditions of Vevchani. Together with our small team, Nasto welcomes guests with warmth, homemade food, local stories, and personal recommendations, offering an authentic experience rooted in family hospitality and local culture.

Kutmichevica is located in the peaceful upper part of Vevchani, one of North Macedonia’s most distinctive villages, known for its natural springs, traditional architecture, rich folklore, and strong local identity. Guests especially enjoy the quiet setting, fresh mountain air, and easy access to the famous Vevchani Springs, which are within walking distance from the property. Nearby, visitors can also see the main village church, walk through the old village streets, explore traditional Vevchani houses, and reach the village center in around 10 minutes on foot. For guests who enjoy nature and active experiences, the mountain above Vevchani offers several beautiful places to explore. A mountain church can be reached on foot in about 1.5 hours, offering a peaceful walk and beautiful views along the way. Higher in the mountain area, visitors can discover picnic spots, walking paths, and the glacial lake near the mountain peak, a special place for those who enjoy hiking, nature, and untouched landscapes. The area is also known for Via Ferrata, offering a more adventurous outdoor experience for visitors looking for something unique. In the village, guests can also visit the Multicultural Center, where they can see artworks by local artists, photographs from the famous Vevchani Carnival, and materials connected with traditional folklore events and village culture.
