In our lobby, you’ll hear good music (we don’t do boring playlists), and if you’re feeling brave — playing the piano is almost a must! No worries, no one’s judging… unless you’re really bad 😉 You’ll often find us swimming right in front of the house — and yes, guests are more than welcome to join. If you prefer staying dry, there’s always badminton equipment in front of the villa, bikes available for riding along the lake, or just pure relaxation in our hammocks by the lake. We enjoy meeting new people, sharing local tips, and making sure everyone feels comfortable and at home. And since we’re a team with different backgrounds, there’s a good chance we can help with just about anything — or at least point you in the right direction 😉 You’re also welcome to leave your bags with us after check-out, so you can continue enjoying your day by the lake without any hassle. Lake Ohrid is one of Europe’s oldest and most beautiful lakes, offering crystal-clear water, beaches, and unforgettable views. Although the villa is right by the promenade (kej), it is set just behind it, within a private yard behind our grandfather's house. Being in the second row means it is not directly exposed to the main street, traffic, or noise — offering a more relaxed and comfortable atmosphere while still being only steps away from the lake. Within minutes, guests can reach the historic Old Town, where you’ll find charming stone streets, traditional architecture, and famous landmarks such as Church of St. John at Kaneo, the Ancient Theatre, and Samuel’s Fortress — all offering stunning views over the lake. The area is also full of great local restaurants, cafés, and beach bars where guests can try traditional Macedonian food, fresh fish like Ohrid trout, or simply enjoy a drink by the water.
