If you are looking for a piece of haven to chillax and admire the shades of blue and the vibrant life in the bay, you have found your happy place... Kreolia Blue. It is a 3 bedroom house on the 1st floor and you just feel you are overlooking the ocean. It is not recommended for people with disability/ 1st floor and there is a path of 50 metres alongside the seashore which leads to the appartment. Once you are on the balcony, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the bay overlooking the jetty/pier where boat trips are organised to to the famous "Ile aux Cerfs Island"- a gem near the Shangrilah prestigious 5- star hotel. Kreolia Blue is in the pittoresque fishing village of Trou D'eau Douce where you have restaurants, caterers, supermarket and the beautiful beaches like Palmar Beach and Belle Mare Beach along the east coast far from the madding crowd. From morning to evening, you are facing the ocean and the shades of blue and it is the perfect place to witness the routine of fishermen embarking at sunrise. Welcome and Enjoy!

As soon as you arrive, Sarah-Jane will welcome you and give you all the information needed so that your stay will be memorable. If you arrive during the night, we have a keybox and you can be given the code to access the room. Sarah-jane can organise meals if you wish and specially if you want to taste local food and fish. You need to organise this directly with her. The catch of the day is the best option!! She is ready to help if you need to book a trip or a taxi. The village itself is picturesque and the villagers very welcoming. In the village, you can get street food at Noel, or exotic food at Tino's or traditionnal creole food at other restaurants like 'Lakaz Poisson or Greeen Island'. YOu can do some boat trips with skippers around the jetty or book excursions from the catamarans who operate on a daily basis. The waterpark for kids is 20 minutes' drive away and the vibrant town 15 minutes away in colourful Flacq where there are local markets and shops like Winners and 'Super U'. One of the excursions, not to be missed is the 'Pirate Boat' or Catamaran doing the water falls or the 'Ile aux Cerfs Island' . From the balcony, you can see the pier and the happy tourists embark to ILe aux Cerfs Island, a gem near the Shangrilah prestigious 5-star hotel. Market days in Flacq are Sundays and Wednesdays. It is vibrant and colourful. We advise you to have a walk to the pier and then alongside there are vestiges from the French colonisation beside a peaceful spot leading to a ramp - a perfect place for meditation.
