Set on the banks of the Grande Riviere South East river, Otentic, Eco Tent Experience offers a glamping experience featuring a swimming pool and a variety of outdoor activities. We are the first glaming site in Mauritius. We are based on the east coast of Mauritius in a small village called 'Deux Freres' on the bank of Grand River South East, the longest river of Mauritius. The lodge is ideally located at canoeing distance halfway between the waterfall and the crystal lagoon of ile aux cerfs. At Otentic, we try to give a truly Mauritian experience to our guests. Our friendly staff, who all live nearby the lodge, will make sure that you discover their region, the east coast of Mauritius, probably the most beautiful coast of the island.
I was born in Mauritius. My family has been on the island for over 150 years. I had an office job for 14 years and decided to change life 3 years ago to start Otentic. I love being in nature and wanted to share my experence of beautiful Mauritius with others. I love being on the water. This is the place where I feel in perfect harmony with nature. Good food, conviviality and simplicity are the things that are important in my life.
