Located a few steps away from the beach and right next to the national park, In the tranquil town of La Bocana, our little, rustic chic guest house will be perfect to relax and connect with nature , a short walk to the Copalita river mouth, home to different species of birds and wild life with stunning views of the Sierra Madre.
We are Chiara & Alfredo, Alfredo is a Huatulco native chef and I am Italian, I have been living in Huatulco for the last 15 years. Together we run a cooking school "Wahaca Cooking " and a restaurant "Alfredo's restaurant bar”. We love living in La Bocana, enjoy our beach walks, go to the river, which is aprox 10 minutes from our house, swim, surf and overall the quiteness and peace that a place like this offers. As I always say: Welcome to Paradise. We run the very best cooking school in Huatulco, Wahaca Cooking, let us know in advance if you would like to reserve. Available most of the time, you can always reach us via WhatsApp
La Bocana used to be a very quiet place, now has become “the place to be” yet it keeps the charm of a little Pueblo, with a fantastic wild beach and just at a 15 minutes drive from the busy downtown. In La Bocana you’ll find the most famous Cooking School of Oaxaca where you can book a “one day class”; a surf school, 4 restaurants, a Spa and a little mezcal bar on the beach. Also at a 5 minutes walk you’ll find the entrance of the Eco- Archeological park. There are some very good restaurants also in Copalita ( 5 minutes drive) nothing fancy but with amazing food
