Studio for two, just above Playa Manzanillo, the beach with the calmest waters in Puerto Escondido. Built alongside a pool with a stunning garden & ocean view, the cabaña features a full kitchen, private bathroom, private terrace, solar hot water shower, ample closet space, built in lock box for your valuables, and a Starlink WiFi connection. Our house is located on a quiet street, just a 10 mins walk to the restaurants & shops on Rinconada, & El Adoquín. Playas Carrizalillo & Zicatela are just a few mins further. There are some hills along the walk so if walking is difficult for you consider renting a vehicle or scooter to get around easier. Please also keep in mind that you may hear noises outside our property. Whether it’s music, animals, people on the beach, or whatever… We cannot control outside noise. If you want a quiet place please consider booking outside the city. The space Our property consists of a beautiful lush garden, a refreshing salt water pool that is shared, our home and two cabañas. We also have two very loving orange tabby cats named Angela and Cirina. We have a large garden with many plants. While we fumigated every three months, we cannot completely control the environment outside of our property. Meaning there will be mosquitoes, ants, spiders, scorpions and many other insects at the property and they might get into your cabana. If insects are an issue for you our place might not be for you. Guests have a dedicated entrance with a path to the cabaña, and are free to roam a large area of the garden/pool area. If you have wheels, there's plenty of street parking. Other things to note There is no A/C, but the cabaña is designed to be cooled by the sea breeze and a ceiling fan. For days where the breeze isn't adequate the salt water pool is perfect for cooling off. However we can't control the weather and there are days were there is no breeze, so if you can't tolerate the heat or humidity your best option is a place with A/C.

We have lived in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca since 2020. We both travel working with music.

Our home is located on a calm street with low traffic, in an area called Manzanillo Reef 2, which is situated above Manzanillo beach and Puerto Angelito beach. At Puerto Angelito you can board tour boats for fishing or whale/dolphin expeditions. This area is just a 10-15 minute walk to the restaurants & shops of Rinconada, Adoquín or Zicatela. We are also about a 20 minute walk to Carrizalillo beach where you can sign-up for beginner surfing lessons.
