We are one of the few places around which has **SIPADAN PERMITS** readily available (this must be reserved long in advance) - ONLY for PADI Advanced Open Water or equivalent can dive in Sipadan. We are PADI official diving center (S-21701) with Instructors and Dive Masters available all year long! PADI Official Courses: We have all the certifications available from Open Water to Divemaster! Welcome to Mabul Backpackers! We have 3-types of room. 1. Sea-view / Beach-view / Jetty-view, Private bathroom, Air-condition room 2. Basic room, Shared bathroom, Fan room 3. Dormitory, Shared bathroom, Fan room We offer a full board of meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner) served in a buffet-style as well as tea, coffee and drinking water available all day long! How to come to Mabul island (Mabul Backpackers)? from Semporna mainland you need to register to our office located at Dragon Inn Floating Resort and we are at office Block VIP Unit no. 5 (Noble Inworld Scuba Resort & Tours Sdn. Bhd.) Please come to our office 30 minutes before boat departure time. Our boat schedule 8:00 AM / 8:30 AM from Semporna (at our office) to Mabul island 3:30 PM / 4:00 PM from Mabul island (at Mabul Backpackers) to Semporna Kindly note boat transfer is not included, if you are not able to catch our boat schedule, we can arrange a private boat for you, please do not hesitate to send us a WhatsAp to let us know your arrival time so we can arrange if possible :)

We are proud to be a familiar company, and we like to welcome our guest to our little paradise. 🏝 Our staff is doing their best to receive you in the nicest conditions to make your stay comfortable. The Hotel is located on the sea (water house) with West sun exposition which allow us to say that we have the best place for sunset 🌅 , come and have a look by yourself 😉! In order to reduce our power energy, the electricity from our generator will be turned off daily from 9:00am till 5:00pm while guests are out for diving & snorkeling 🌊 We are very concerned about the use of plastic, and we are doing our best to reduce it as much as possible! We are taking part of the local actions to remove plastic from the sea, but we are still trying to get help to process garbages. We will ask you to help us to keep the Ocean clean as it is our home and we depend on it to live, thank you! 😇 Yet another great trip to Sipadan with Mabul Backpackers! Our closer neighbours are Green turtles, clown fishes and of course some white tips, black tips, grey reef sharks, bumphead parrotfishes, and so much more! The village is very small and humble so you can easily walk around and feel safe ! We also have Sea-gypsies that live only on their boats and who will come to sell coconuts 🥥, fresh fishes 🐟, seafood 🐚 and Lobsters 🦞 ! Our chef can help you to cook it at your taste (RM 15- RM 30) The 2 telecom that we can reach signal from here are Celcom and Digi and we don't have WiFi access but you can request a mobile hotspot at the reception.
