Exclusive camping at the entrance gate to the Namib Naukluft Park and Sossusvlei - the area well known for the towering red sand dunes of the Namib Desert, the iconic scorched trees of Deadvlei and the remarkable depths of the Sesriem Canyon. Treasure the ambience of the Namib Desert, under the star studded skies, to the tune of the barking gecko and far cry of a jackal. The Sossus Oasis campsite consists of 18 shaded individual luxury sites - each with an elegant private toilet and shower facility, kitchenette wash up facility, BBQ, electricity, and power outlets. Each unit has a unique rooftop terrace to admire the magnificent sunset and sunrise views surrounding the camp and is a perfect spot for those eager to sleep under the star-studded skies of the Namib. (Bring your own camping gear!) The campsite offer magnificent views of the Desert landscapes and the nearby Elim Dune. A fuel and service station, tyre workshop, stocked utility shop and Internet café is available at the adjacent Sossus Oasis Service Station. The nearest restaurant is situated at the adjacent Sossusvlei Lodge.

The Sossusvlei Lodge Adventure Centre (at our neighboring Sossusvlei Lodge) provides a range of activities including Guided Excursions to Deadvlei and Sossusvlei, Elim dune walks, Sundowner Trips, Hot Air Ballooning, Scenic Flights and much more to explore the area's natural beauty. Meals can be enjoyed at the nearby Sossusvlei Lodge restaurant. A fully stocked shop, fuel and tyre workshop is available at the Sossus Oasis Service Station on the premises
