In B&B 'be our guest' you will find peace and comfort. How about a warm bath or invigorating shower? Or watch Netflix on TV from armchairs via free fast WiFi? The B&B is located in Stroet, a ribbon village on the outskirts of Sint Maarten near Schagen in North Holland. Our country side house and garden offers peace and comfort not only for us but for our guests as well; the guest rooms with garden views are situated far from the access road on which only few people travel. The rooms are situated at the other side of the house which we do not use. Separate indoor stairs leeds to these rooms. All this make our guests report that they really experience complete tranqiuility at our B&B. You can take your dog with you in consultation. He/she can sleep (in the bench) downstairs or upstairs in the bedroom (but not on the bed). Tip: the garden is completely fenced, but small dogs might walk through the bars of the wrought iron gate. We are a happy married couple and our names are Anouk and Ron. We live in the rural village Stroet since August 2018, a ribbon village on the outskirts of St. Maarten in North Holland. We love to receive visitors and as your hosts we offer you the extra rooms we have in the house. 2 sweet black Labradors 'Max' age 10,5 and 'Bink' age 4,5 and a cute grey-white cat called 'Beau' are also living in our house. Besides the bed and breakfast, which we run privately, our profession is Wi-Fi and networking at our company. Therefore, you can expect WiFi in the B&B to be excellent and of course free to use. Max and Bink (our labradors), have some recommondations for dogs walking free in the area: Beach: on almost all beaches dogs can walk free from October to April. In the other months from 7 p.m. or before 10 a.m. The village of Petten has a seperate beach where dogs can walk free all year round. The forest in Petten: In the southern part of the forest, dogs are allowed to roam all year round. Dogs must be on a lead in the northern part and in the dunes. This is clearly indicated.

Our house is near an intersection of walking routes. Do you like horse back riding, a stable and riding school is within 5 minute walking distance. You can reach the forest or beach of the North Sea sea shore within 15 min by car. The city's Alkmaar and Bergen are a 20-min drive away and even closer is the West Frisian Omringdijk, one of the beautiful cycling routes in the region. If you want to rent bicycles you can rent in Schagen. There is a wide choice including electrical versions. If desired, the bicycles are ready on the day of arrival. Bicycles can be stored and charged in the garden. Some say that in the nearby village of 'Schoorl', at the edge of the dunes near the sea and forrest, the best mountain trial is situated. This mountain bike route is 15 km over high dunes, through forests and heathland and is both erratic, challenging and exhausting. A few kilometers from the B&B you will find the oldest broker auction in the world 'Broekerveiling' in the village Broek op Langedijk. This is where auctioning started in 1887.
