Our B&B can only be booked for a minimum of 2 nights. --- Buggenum Palace is a small, charming English-style B&B housed in a monumental rectory full of character. The building has been part of the historic village center of Buggenum since around 1650. As a national monument, the property served as a rectory with a coach house and a stable. The village of Buggenum is located in the south of the Netherlands (Limburg) near the city of Roermond. The B&B has one room. Guests have their own private entrance. The space consists of a small hallway with a coat rack, a country-style bedroom, and a bathroom with a toilet and shower. In the room, you will find a fan, a kettle and a coffee maker so you can make your own tea and coffee. Breakfast is optional. If you choose breakfast included, we will deliver a basic mini-breakfast box to you at 8:30 PM, suitable for 1 or 2 people. In the morning, we will bring you fresh bread rolls. The B & B is owned and managed by Yvonne & Maarten since autumn 2018. Both have a creative, artistic background. Maarten is an architect & active as a painter. Yvonne is advertising designer & painter. May 2019 they opened an art gallery next to the B & B. Why did we choose to start an English style B & B? Well, we love the classic charm of England, English folk & singer-songwriters, writers like Roahld Dahl and Oscar Wilde, marmalade & high tea, 'british castles, cottages & gardens', costume films and British humor series. And last but not least... the British love cats, just as we do. We just thought it would be nice to give our B & B a 'english touch'. It is in the small details, in the floral wallpaper on the wall and the romantic bedding and the lace curtain in front of the window. Those little things make B & B Buggenum Palace a unique place to spend the night.
