Nestled in the green heart of Holland in Linschoten nearby Utrecht lays the Louisehoeve (1602), part of the historical Estate Linschoten. The former stables and cheese house have been recently converted into new spacious and comfortable guest rooms.

We are Karin and Jaap Meelker, both born in Amsterdam. Jaap worked professionally as a landscaper and Karin is trained as an anthropologist and works more than15 years as an executive coach and business trainer. We have a lot in comment. We love nature and the simple country live, old houses and their history, working together and meeting new people, but most of all, we love to dream! And sometimes it's just the right time to bring a dream forward. Our dream is to wake up every day in a place where we feel we belong, meeting people and making new friends, working with and enjoying the nature that surrounds us, and creating special moments with the people we love. In 2011, we started to turn our dreams into reality. Once we created our vision, things started to fall into place. We found a very special old farm on a protected estate - a nature reserve, located in the centre of Holland. As a labour of love and craftsmanship, together with friends, Jaap carefully brought our farm back to its former glory. We created a wonderful home for ourselves and beautiful guesthouses to welcome you, your friends, and your family. Welcome to country life!
