We are delighted to welcome you to our studio apartment and to share this special place with you. We rebuilt and modernised the apartment ourselves, with great care and attention to detail. This project has truly been our life’s work, and we are proud to open it to guests from near and far. We love hosting and enjoy making sure our guests feel comfortable, relaxed, and truly at home. Living close to nature is an important part of who we are. We spend much of our time outdoors and share our farm with chickens, horses, and friendly cats, who may occasionally say hello during your stay. Whether you come to relax, explore the surrounding nature, or simply enjoy some peace and quiet, we hope you will feel welcome here from the moment you arrive. If there is anything you need during your stay, we are always happy to help. Enjoy your time, unwind, and make yourself at home.

Here you can wander through vast open fields, forests, and lakes, spot wildlife, and enjoy well-marked hiking and cycling routes. The area around Ansen is also full of history and culture. Visit nearby villages such as Dwingeloo and Ruinen, known for their charming village greens, old churches, and cozy cafés. Discover ancient hunebedden (prehistoric dolmens), historic farms, and traditional Drenthe landscapes. For an active day out, the region offers excellent cycling and walking paths, horseback riding opportunities, and canoeing on nearby waterways. Families and culture lovers can enjoy local museums, markets, and seasonal events. After a day of exploring, return to the quiet of Ansen, where dark skies, fresh air, and peaceful evenings make it easy to unwind and fully enjoy your stay.
