Your stay is pure relaxation in style. Let go of everyday life for a while. Here everything is about comfort, quality and a relaxed atmosphere. Our luxury B&B is located on the green Mheenpark. Our guests experience their stay as an oasis of tranquility, with just that little bit extra. The spacious bathroom (3 x 3 meters!) is a true wellness space in itself. Enjoy a warm whirlpool for two or an invigorating rain shower. In Huize Hertog there is no gas and you are at home, with just that little bit more. Our B&B is small-scale and flexible. You do not see your posibility...send a message. Downstears there is underfloor heating throughout the 40m2. The bathroom... that's where we often get the most reactions. A space of no less than 3 by 3 meters, furnished as a private spa. Enjoy the whirlpool for two together, relax under the large rain shower and refresh yourself at the double sink. Everything is clean, bright, and feels like a little spa. There is a kitchen with the basics so you can prepare a simple (oven) meal yourself and make a delicious cup of coffee or tea. Want to eat out? Then you can be in the cozy center of Apeldoorn in less than ten minutes by bike (which you can borrow from us). We have; Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Coffee (Cup and Senseo), Microwave, Oven The bedroom is modern bedstead which brings together style and sense of tranquility. Watch TV from your bed? You can. Besides the double sofa bed, the living room has a luxurious 55inch TV with TV channels, Netflix and you can, among other things, log in to your own Spotify account. Sustainable enjoyment. At Huize Hertog, your stay isn't just comfortable, it's also a conscious one. Our B&B is completely gas-free and heated by a solar boiler. The energy comes from our own solar panels. This way, we combine luxury with respect for nature—a real pleasure in the Veluwe.

We are open minded, nothing is too crazy for us and anything is possible. So if you have special requests: Let us know! We bought our 1913 home in 2023. Unfortunately, not everything turned out as we thought. After more than two years of renovations, we opened our B&B. The outdoor terrace is ready for use, but still contains some areas for improvement. The access from living room to bathroom is open. We are Geocachers. We enjoy this very much. Partly for this reason we have placed 1 ourselves. We also sometimes call it...... treasure hunt for adults. Our treasure is a kind of escape room, but without being locked up. Apeldoorn is centrally located on the Veluwe. Our B&B sits next to the large Mheenpark where you have, among other things, a trail run, an IVN upper route and a large sunbathing meadow where hot air balloons regularly take off. Many activities such as: Paleis het Loo, Amusement Park Julianatoren, Klimbos, (large) Children's Farm Binky, Museum Coda, visit the Jews Forest, cozy city-center with many stores, pubs and restaurants, Apenheul, Outdoor pool the Boschbad, Veluwe Steam Train Company, and many more.
