Company info

We’ve dreamt for years of running our own small-scale, personalised guest house. In 2012, the municipality of Peel & Maas held a competition to find ideas for developing the former town hall in Kessel that would attract tourists. We drew up plans with the help of our daughter, Kim, who is an architect and were chosen as the winners. What a proud day that was.

Neighborhood info

Kessel: a wonderfully historic village that grew up around a castle in the centre of the province of Limburg, on the banks of the river Meuse. Kasteel De Keverberg and a number of good restaurants are within walking distance of Het Raadhuys. There are also several friendly bars and cafés, where you can sit outside if the sun is shining. The region in the heart of the province of Limburg has a lot to offer. Towns and cities such as Venlo, Roermond, Maastricht, Hasselt and Dusseldorf are well within reach as are the National Parks of De Groote Peel and De Meinweg as also Designer Outlet Roermond and several golf courses.
