The Duinstudio is a studio behind the landlord's house, with an enclosed garden with complete privacy. Via the main entrance you go via a private path to the studio, where you can park your car. The studio is 50 m2 and on the ground floor, fully equipped and very comfortable. In addition to the living room with patio doors to the garden, there is a spacious kitchen with refrigerator, induction hob, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a small round table with chairs, a china cabinet with generous glassware and crockery. Extra sockets have been installed so that you can work with your laptop at the round table. The cozy bedroom with wardrobes is located behind the living room. Everything in the bedroom is new, from bed to bedding. The bed cover is large (2.40 x 2.20), 100% down, the kapok pillow and the bedding 100% cotton. There is a spacious and bright bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a washbasin with cupboard for your belongings, a toilet and a washing machine. A supply of toilet rolls and detergents for the first days are provided. The beds are made when you arrive. The Duinstudio is not suitable for children. The garden is completely enclosed and offers a lot of privacy. Here you can quietly work on an assignment, write a book, let a creative process flourish or simply enjoy a holiday. You can hear the many birds singing, often early in the morning when the sun rises. The garden is full of bamboo, which you can hear rustling in the wind. Rest, privacy and comfort are the basis of your stay and we hope you will enjoy it immensely! The height of the ceiling, except for the living room, is 1.93 meters. There is room in our garden for one (large) car, but not for a delivery van or camper.

I live in the front house with my husband and son. We have a black and white cat without a tail and two dachshunds. The dogs friendly greet the people walking along the gravel path, but then they are silent. I like to walk in nature: with my dogs to the forest or beach, or have a nice lunch with friends on a terrace. I also like to be active in the garden, and I am also interested in interior design, art and politics! I am always available and will contact you as soon as possible.

Bergen is a charming and colorful village in the province of North Holland, located on the edge of the beautiful dunes of the North Sea coast. The neighborhood around De Franschman is a quiet and green residential area with mainly detached houses and many trees and plants. A short distance from the house you will find various shops and restaurants, as well as various (organic) supermarkets. The center of Bergen, with its pleasant terraces and shops, is easy to reach by bicycle or car. From the neighborhood there are many opportunities to enjoy nature, such as walking or cycling through the dunes or along the coastline. In addition, the city of Alkmaar, known for its cheese market, can be reached quickly. Whether you are looking for a relaxing holiday in nature or an active holiday full of adventure, the area around the Duinstudio on the hamlet of De Franschman offers something for everyone.
