Surrounded by reeds and birdsong, our characterful Luxury Safari Lodge is located on the peaceful Yn’e Lijte holiday park in Grou. This is where you come to unwind, enjoy the outdoors, play board games, go boating, and end your day with a BBQ by the fire. The lodge is tastefully decorated in a warm, boho style and equipped with everything you need. Inside, there’s a cozy seating area with a sofa bed, a large wooden dining table for long game nights, and a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove, fridge, oven, coffee maker, milk frother, kettle, and toaster. There are two comfortable bedrooms: a master bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe, and a children’s room with a bunk bed and a single bed. The sofa in the living area can be converted into a small double, bringing the total capacity to 6 guests. There is no private bathroom, but the well-maintained toilet building is just 20 meters away, tucked behind some greenery. Outside, you’ll find a spacious private garden with a sandbox, firepit, BBQ, and a wonderful outdoor pool (available from june 2025). Children can also play on the lawns or in the playgrounds on the park. Feeling active? Rent a (motor)boat into the Alde Feanen National Park. Or explore the Frisian landscape via one of the many cycling routes. In the evening, dine under the stars, light the fire and enjoy the calm of the outdoors — together and offline. We both have experience in the tourism industry, and we’ve used that knowledge to create a place that feels just right: comfortable, inviting, practical and warm — designed to give you a truly relaxing stay. Our dream? A place where you feel at home the moment you arrive. Where you can slow down, enjoy the fresh air, play games, and unwind by the fire under a sky full of stars.
