The Bed and Breakfast is located on our property and is suitable for 2 people. This Bed and Breakfast is an annex, it is separate from our house and has its own entrance. The surface of the Bed and Breakfast is 45m2 and has a sitting and sleeping area with a king-size box spring and flat screen TV with Netflix and excellent WiFi and air conditioning. Furthermore, the Bed and Breakfast has a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. In addition, there is a luxurious bathroom with rain shower and sink. The Bed and Breakfast has a separate toilet. Smoking is not allowed in the Bed and Breakfast. The terrace overlooks the patio, we have created a separate garden area, we have a cozy sitting area on the terrace with a covered Jacuzzi, so it can be used in Summer and in Winter (with additional fee) .We also placed an outdoor kitchen with a plancha als the possibility to BBQ for a small fee. NOTE: JACUZZI: can be booked for additional 45,00 euro per day with towels, bath slippers and bathrobes, when you like to book the JACUZZI, text me in advance please!. Combideal for the first 2 days 80,00 euro the 3rd day is 20,00 euro. Breakfast can be booked additional for 17,50 per person per day when booking, text me please! For Vega and gluten an extra fee of 10 euro. For the 3th and 4th Person: there is an addition of 10 euro per person per day. Linen package for sofa bed 7,50. Various packages can be booked, e.g. romantic package, birthday package, drinks platter package, BBQ package in the summer season. Massage can be booked in advance in consultation with availability, 45.00 for a relaxing massage of half an hour, 85.00 for 1 hour. Assistance dogs are allowed, but only after consultation with the owner, please call first before making the booking, costs may be involved.

I am Neeltje van Oorschot, together with my husband Peter we have been living in Oudenbosch since August 2021. Now that the kids are older and almost standing on their own two feet, we could look for a nice place to make our dream come true! In 2021 we found this beautiful place and we moved from Prinsenbeek to Oudenbosch. We were especially looking for more peace and space. Especially more space for our pets such as our 17 chickens, 2 cats and our dog Dokus. The realization of a long-cherished wish could therefore also be realized, our Bed and Breakfast Het Blij Hoen. We like to give our guests the opportunity to relax here and enjoy the outdoor life that we also enjoy so much. We also like to share our love for nature with our guests.

Cycling and walking Bed and Breakfast Het Blij Hoen is the perfect base for a wonderful walk or bike ride through the polder, forests and heathland. And don't forget the city walk through Oudenbosch with of course a visit to the impressive Basilica. Culture Oudenbosch has a rich culture. When approaching Oudenbosch you can already see it, the impressive domes of the Basilica of Oudenbosch and the St. Louis Boys' Boarding School. Once in Oudenbosch you imagine yourself in Rome. The beautiful buildings in Roman style, the squares, the cour of St. Louis, the Tivoli Observatory. Together they form the historical heart of Oudenbosch. And don't forget to visit the beautiful Botanical Garden the Arboretum. Going out There is plenty to do for the whole family. How about a wonderful day of water fun in Waterpretpark Splesj or a day of shopping in Designer Outlet Roosendaal. For the real daredevils a visit to Indoor Skydive Roosendaal. From our Bed and Breakfast, the cities of Breda, Roosendaal, Etten-Leur and Bergen op Zoom are easily and quickly accessible for a pleasant day of shopping or relaxing on a terrace.
