Owner René Kroonen has a farm in Schin op Geul. The agricultural activities include the cultivation of sugar beets, potatoes and grains. The farmlands are located south of the village of Schin op Geul. There are also some breeding horses with foals present. These run in the meadows next to the farm, where there are also high-stem fruit trees. In addition to the farm, René has six holiday apartments and a farm campsite with 15 places on the pasture behind the farm buildings.

Welcome to the site of Hoeve Kroonen, Strucht 48 in Schin op Geul, South Limburg. More and more people are looking for peace and relaxation in the countryside but also want the conveniences of the presence of a city a short distance away. Hoeve Kroonen is located in the Geuldal on the outskirts of Schin op Geul, east of Valkenburg, South Limburg and is a modernly converted old square farm and has six luxury holiday apartments in one wing next to the courtyard in the former cowshed and the hayloft above. The originally agricultural farm with livestock and arable farming has been converted over the years into an arable farm and in 2019 now also holiday apartments. The apartments on the ground floor are suitable for wheelchair users. There is a spacious outdoor terrace and parking space. Bicycles can also be parked in the annex. Neighborhood info

Schin op Geul is located east of Valkenburg. The village is easily accessible via public transport (both train and bus within walking distance of accommodation). The village is next to nature reserve "Gerendal" known for its orchid garden. The area is well suited for both walking and cycling holidays. Schin op Geul has various restaurants and bars (restaurants and cafés) and there is a bakery located within walking distance of the accommodation. Aachen (20 km), Maastricht (15 km) and Liège (40 km) are easily accessible by both public transport and car.
