From Maaseik you can easily take a boat trip to Antwerp and Brussels. Other excursion possibilities include Roermond, Maasbracht, Maastricht or the spa Thermae 2000. The golf courses in Weert or Herkenbosch are 25 km away and an indoor swimming pool 5 km from Porta Isola. You can rent bicycles, pedal boats, canoes and rowboats, and there is also a beach. You can bring a boat with you. In 1 km distance you can use a boat ramp for a fee, there you can also rent a mooring and also there is a parking place for the boat trailer.
