Unique self-built cottage on a quietly located road in the middle of the flowerbulb fields. The cottage has a view over the flowerbulb fields and corn mill De Hoop 't Zand. In the distance you can see the dunes of Callantsoog and the beach of Groote Keeten is 10-15 minutes cycling distance. The cottage is in the back of our yard and offers a lot of privacy in it´s own private garden. There is free parking space next to the cottage. The cottage consists of an open space with a double bed and on the loft there are 2 single beds. The room features a kitchen with a spacious dining table and four chairs. Under the porch outside is lounge sofa located and there is a picnic table in the garden. In the cottage are bed linen and towels availabale during your stay. The kitchen is equipped with coffee, thee, peper, salt and oil. If you are travelling with a baby or toddler, please let us knowif you would like a cot or high chair. We have both of these available free of charge. Good to keep in mind, by placing a cot there is less living space available downstairs.

We live on a rural road, which is dead end. During the day, agricultural vehicles pass by, in the evening it is very quiet. The village 't Zand is less than a 5-minute bike ride away. You can find here a small spupermarket, butcher and bakery. The beach of Groote Keeten is 10-15 minutes away by bike. Callantsoog and Julianadorp are 5 and 10 minutes away by car, you can find here lager shops and supermarkets. The best way to get around is by car or bike. If you do not come by car, we recommend bringing or renting bicycles. The beach and larger supermarkets are not within walking distance. There is a bike rental in the neightbourhood. The bus stop is a +/- 10-minute walk away. The bus leaves there to Schagen station.
