Kaewkongs Surf Motel is an old fishermens cottage 500 steps from the beach. Romantic on the outside and bohemian comfort and design on the inside. An open living area on the ground floor, with a big sofa, TV, a well equipped kitchen (oven/fridge/nespresso/quooker/dishwasher). A terrace with an outside shower and an old surfboard. Upstairs you'll find the bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. The bedroom is fitted out with a signature queen size bed and an airco. When you book our hotel for 4 persons you will have acces to the green bedroom, which is fitted out with a bathtub. IMPORTANT: our holiday home is not suited for parties. After 22.30 loud music is not allowed and absolute quiteness in the patio/garden is required. Please note that downstairs (in the living area) there are 2 camera's installed for your safety and to warrant the liveability of the neighbourhood (/to prevent noise disturbance).

Joy was born and raised in the country side of North East Thailand. Together with architect Bas Vogelpoel she designed and decorated this small boutique motel. She loves cooking, cricket, the ocean and Thai soap opera's. She and her husband can recommend sportive and cultural things to do in the area. They also know quite a few restaurants (in The Hague and Amsterdam).

You will find a super market, shops and restaurants around the corner. The beach is 500 meters away. In the vicinity you can hire wetsuits, surfboards and bikes. Surf lessons are available through the whole year. We can recommend you restaurants, museums and lots of other things to do.
