Klein Waldeck Apartment – peace, privacy and nature within easy reach Enjoy a relaxing stay in our cosy, modern apartment, which sleeps up to two people. This fully self-catering accommodation offers everything you need for a comfortable stay – with the freedom of your own space, without the obligations of a traditional B&B breakfast. What makes our place special? The combination of peace and quiet, personal attention and green surroundings. The apartment is situated in our garden, where, as a guest, you are also welcome to use the outdoor swimming pool (open from 1 June to 1 October) and a lovely seating area surrounded by greenery. We also live on the property with our family and our friendly Labradoodle, Mila. We respect your privacy, but are always on hand to make you feel welcome and provide you with tips on the local area. Good to know: the sleeping area is accessed via a staircase and is therefore less suitable for guests with mobility issues.

As a host, I always enjoy offering guests a place where they can truly unwind and feel right at home. I’ve been doing this with great pleasure for over six years now, and this is reflected in the many lovely reviews we’ve received. I believe personal contact is important: I’m happy to give you tips on the local area, lovely walking and cycling routes, or good restaurants nearby. At the same time, I fully respect your privacy – it’s your stay. In my spare time, I love being outdoors in nature, walking in the woods (the beautiful Veluwezoom!) with the dog, working in the (vegetable) garden, or enjoying a good book by the open fire. Guests particularly appreciate the combination of peace and quiet, nature and the lively atmosphere of the surrounding area. Our flat is situated in a green and peaceful part of Velp, yet you’re just a few minutes’ walk from shops, restaurants and the train station. Just 100 metres away is a bus stop with a direct connection to Arnhem – you’ll be in the city centre within 15 minutes. The GelreDome is also easily accessible, ideal for a night out or a concert. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for a lovely day out. Take a walk or a bike ride through Veluwezoom National Park with its beautiful hills and views, or visit the charming centre of Arnhem. Popular attractions such as Burgers’ Zoo and the Dutch Open Air Museum are also nearby and well worth a visit. Prefer something on a smaller scale? In Velp and the surrounding area, you’ll find lovely restaurants, terraces and local specialist shops where you can enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Or discover one of the many walking routes starting right from the accommodation. Whether you’re coming for nature, culture or a night out: here you’ll experience the best of both worlds.
