The picturesque village of Jelsum is located on the edge of Leeuwarden in an oasis of green farmlands and beautiful views. Immediately upon entering the village is Sate it Skierhús, a centuries-old farm. Adjacent to the yard is the coach house, which lends itself to a unique way of staying. The coach house has a private sanitary unit with shower, wall-mounted toilet, sink and dishwashing area and is equipped with all modern conveniences. The coach house is a pleasant place to be, it is fully equipped with underfloor heating. The stainless steel catering furniture serves as a kitchen unit and is fully equipped with sufficient kitchen accessories such as a two-burner electric hob, coffee maker, kettle, table model refrigerator with freezer. Free Wi-Fi is available. Take a seat on the sofa, which can easily be transformed into a wonderfully spacious double bed for a good night's sleep. Enjoy the sound of the birds, the visit of the chickens and wake up with the view of the 12th century Romanesque church. Drink your coffee on the terrace or in the garden among the sheep and lambs.

Nico lives on the farmhouse with son and dog. They are open to advise on all the fun and beautiful sights this area has to offer. The coach house, completely renovated in 2023, offers an original stay that is fully equipped.
