Our host is living in the village of Diever, welcomes you and is available for any questions during your stay.
Immediately adjacent to the Forest Holiday Cottages of Landgoed De Heezeberg, the National Park Drents-Friese Wold is situated. The park is one of the largest contiguous nature reserves in the Netherlands. In 2000, more than 6000 hectares of forest, heathland, drift sand and stream valley grasslands were designated as National Park. The Drents-Friese Wold is one of the most beautiful and most important nature reserves in Europe and is therefore designated as Natura2000 area. You can traverse this wilderness in every possible way: on horseback, on foot or by bike.
