The Linquenda ("Passage through") is a modern houseboat with its own garden. You can enjoy the many recreative activities that this area has to offer! The houseboat is situated next to the Leidsevaart, a channel that leads to lake Braassemmermeer and thus to the vast network of lakes that Zuid-Holland has to offer. The houseboat is also situated close to several walking and bicycle routes that lead you through the beautiful landscape of our reclaimed lands, such as the Marskramer route, that leads from The Hague to Bad Bentheim in Germany. The boat has been tastefully designed with a Scandinavian touch. It has a combined livingroom/kitchen, a bathroom and two bedrooms of which one has a double bed and the other two singles. PLEASE NOTE: this is a houseboat, so it goes without saying that this boat is situated on and near water. For that reason this accommodation has been marked as unsuitable for children, as there is no fencing to stop them from falling into the water. Please note that if you can't swim this accommodation is possibly unsafe for you to stay in. We cannot be held responsible for any if all accidents that might occur.

We are an agricultural farm in Zuid-Holland, and have lived in the nearby area for several generations. Aside from cultivating potatoes, corn and sugar beets, we also have a small herd of sheep, two dogs, several cats, a Shetland pony and four Icelandic horses. You might be able to hear us ride past on Sunday mornings in the typical gait of this breed, the tölt.
